Well, I've looked at the last 18 seasons of SL and given we are the nice bloke child of Rupert Murdoch and Knock down Nigel, I am loving furious we've only ever got Wakefield once at home first up.....in 2010 and we managed to lose that too boot!
We have on the other hand, met St Helens at Home when we returned to the Broncos name (lost) Met St Helens in our first home outing as Harlequins Rugby League (massacred), Wigan were our first visitors at Griffin Park in 2002 (lost), met Huddersfield back at the Valley in 2000 (won), played Bradford in our first home game at the stoop in 1997 (lost) and had the filthy French at home in our first ever home SL game (won).
As conspiracy theories and master plans go, Wakey being the sacrificial lamb is up there with the best of them!
