Different side tonight, for once they were not giving silly penalties away. Wigan were lacking a play maker, and appeared to not have a clue how to open a defence. Fielden was not used until second half, and Nobby stormed off to dressing rooms at end of match. Thank goodness the Crusaders have beaten someone else at last, ever since the bulls match I have had to put up with constant ragging. Last home match we were terrible against the Wildcats, and that terrible French ref in charge.
But we were only one place above them. Wigan are in a play off spot. And don't foerget (as we are constantly being told by various pie eaters) they are the mighty Wigan, the biggest team in the world.
I'd also mention their 0-4 defeat by the so-called mighty Saints. They may have had some bad days at the office but these sort of results are useful in showing that whilst overall the worst team in the comp in terms of consistency, nevertheless Celtic aren't the abject rubbish that some people seem to want to believe.
