I'm pretty sure I remember Dave Lister posting on southstander a few years ago as a Leeds fan - dunno what the story is there. To his credit (in the eyes of Bradford fans anyway) I don't think ME has ever supported Leeds
I thought expectations at Quins would be much lower than those at Bradford given the league showings of the two teams in the last 10 years. I expected Quins to finish much lower in the table this year (around where Bradford are now) - if that happened there may have been a case for Brian Mac to go but just missing out on the play-offs should be enough to save him - at least for this year.
In comparison, the problem with McNamara is that we've witnessed a decline in fortunes under his stewardship over several years. Things appear to be getting almost exponentially worse at the Bulls despite his best efforts. IMO there are two factors that might potentially save him: a) the fact that there's another year on his contract which would presumably mean he'd be due a big pay-out from the club if they wanted to release him early (unless he was commiting other offenses behind the scenes a la Millward at Saints, allegedly); and b) the reality that despite all the doom and gloom he's not that terrible that he can't be trusted to preside over things for another year while the club continues to 'rebuild' (whatever that may mean in the end!).
