At the same time as the Giants are playing Hull in SL.

I am all for the international game and all for the exiles principle but this is a joke particularly as the All stars team includes Jermaine MGilvray and Luke Yates who were in the England squad.


How fffffing incompetent is the RFL.

If I was the Giants I would play the academy. Team against Hull and threat the game with the contempt it deserves

Particularly as we have two players out injured after dangerous tackles by Salford who have been given bans for the tackles as well as players struggling after Covid. How can the Giants be in any way competitive having ther 5 best players cherry picked out of the team.

Sezer, Edwards and Leutele are the others picked out.

In all fairness it doesn't sound like its all the RFLs fault.
This England fixture seems to have been in the calendar well before SL sorted out its fixtures.
SL knew about it yet still chose to schedule a full round of games.

I accept , that maybe I should have just put how incompetent is the RL management in this country cannot organise a up in a brewery.

SL scheduling two games against the international do nothing for any of the fixtures integrity

If they was to be games this week the England game should have been Thursday and the league games Sunday then if any player wanted to back up and play Sunday he could the RFL want

it's almost entirely down to the Super League clubs, or whoever they pay / paid to run their league. The RFL made clear this was an international weekend long before SL stuck club games not only on the same weekend but on the same night.

As for Huddersfield, they haven't been singled out although fair play to them for releasing players for the Combined team - unlike St Helens it appears. The maximum number of players any one team would be called upon to contribute to this fixture was five, that was agreed. As the Giants don't have anyone in the England squad they have five in the opposition but the same maximum number involved as Leeds and Warrington. St Helens' stance is even more grievous given they have no game this weekend.

Nothing to do with the RFL it's the greedy superleague clubs and their incompetent executive chairman who is...

I assumed this would be a post saying how great the Huddersfield squad is to have so many representative players in it, if your squad can't put out a decent team when missing 5 or 5 players then your squad is severely lacking, something the clubs and super league are wholly responsible for. The teams complaining and/or moving/cancelling games should take a long hard look at themselves.

This on SL who knew this weekend an England game was happening.

It's just another example of how Rugby League is run in the UK which is pure amateurish.
