With chase pulling the strings at halfback, ellis and westwood in the pack and tomkins chiming in from fullback, i think we got that trophy won this year.

We have this every year. We watch these players do well and figure they're great.

But we lack the mentality, ruthlessness and togetherness to beat Australia IMO.

No, would be nice but realistically no.

The Exiles game itself (yes we had injuries) showed we just look better on paper than we do on grass.

Would rather have Widdop in the team than Chase and we have a slim chance at best, we have no outstanding wingers or centres and they do.

Their biggest advantage (apart from Lockyer & Inglis obviously) is that everyone plays the same role for their club as they do when they play for their country. Whereas ours, especially our key players, often are in different roles and have to adapt to playing with each other in just a couple of weeks.
Plus their mentality is far better than ours.
