Rugby union is a dubious fourth most popular football code in Australia, not sport. Hayne's NFL telecasts have been outrating union matches though so fifth is on the way.

BBC TV News excelled themselves last night. Leeds won and legend Kevin Sinfield played his last match before switching to Rugby Union. No mention of Peacock retiring.

The BBC still comes up short with its Rugby League coverage.
They need to have someone in the studio giving out the sports news who understands our game.
