SKOLARS NEW SUPREMO JOINS AS GENERAL MANAGER! The London Skolars Rugby League Football Club is proud to announce Phill Browne as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer. After a lengthy interview process and many quality candidates, the board of directors decided that Phill would be the candidate to take the club forward. Phill’s enthusiasm, attitude, professionalism and work ethic were the deciding factor. At 28 years of age, Phill will become the youngest Chief Executive Officer in British professional Rugby League. Coupled with the fact Head Coach, Callum Irving is 28 years of age; the Skolars will have the youngest administration. Phill has previously worked at the New South Wales Rugby League Academy and has been a long time stalwart with the Fiji National Rugby League. The ground work the Skolars are doing puts many long established clubs to shame, however they really do need to strengthen the squad in the short term to achieve some results on the pitch or they will play all season to crowds of 300-400 again. NOT good for promoting the clubs long term growth.

sounds like great news. with be of the main 2 being just 28 years old they can plan for the long term future and both see it through.
agree with the second post though. it's fine saying there is a wealth of talent in the capital but it's much better tapping into it and producing some good rugby players.

Hopefully now that they have a with a full-time coach and full-time CEO with a few other back office staff they can get some systems in place to bring through

I don't know why they dont just go out and ya know...sign a couple of decent C1 standard players, or loan some SL juniors who wouldnt mind a couple of months in the capital
