In recent times the bulk of the England representative team has come from Leeds and St Helens, as these two sides have dominated Super League. 13 out of 17 in the last World Cup.

Now that Huddersfield is winning games, and running second, with a predominantly English contingent (except for the four Wests Tigers imports and Brad Drew), the question arises as to whether they have several players worthy of an English jersey. The next international is in France in June.

Can you name any and justify your choice over the rival candidate players from Leeds or St Helens?

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

And wouldn't he have counted as West Tigers import too?

Don't think so. Think we got him from Canberra and he was at Parra before that.

Whats the point, even if Huddersfield won the grand final it would be down to the ref and we would still be a "workmanlike" team to some people.

Ah yes, I'm thinking of Skandalis for some reason. To be honest I normally just assume all are Ausises are from West Tigers

Griffin, Crabtree, Wild and Raleigh should all be in with a shout.

Hodgson is easily as good as Gardener

Lawrence would be good young bet for a bit of experience

Robinson would also be worth a shout if England had a world class SO to play with him. But as we dont he is not as good as Burrow. But there have not been many British no 7s as good as him this season.
