RL has always been a fully inclusive sport and has for most of it's 100+ years been very proud of this.
IF's fundamentalist views certainly fly in the face of the inclusivity of the sport and whilst EVERYONE is entitled to their viewpoint, not necessarily should they be allowed to make those views quite so public.
As for clubs getting their own houses in order. Yes, they damn well should. Do you think that his signing for Catalan is helping the Dragons get their house in order or maybe, making life more difficult for them ?

Just for reference, using just one of the bible's quotes, "an eye for an eye" you can justify EVERY act on the planet and this is instantly contradicted by "thou shalt not kill". Utter hypocrisy from the "big book" and leaving a cloak for certain individuals to hide behind.

Maybe the church should get it's own house in order before persuading others how to think / act

I get that but nobody has to like him. Would Falou be the only player with certain views? I would say defiantly not its just he was the one that aired them.

I haven't seen a barrage of players all coming out to condemn the signing but that's probably because players themselves have their own issues and to single out Falou just doesn't make sense.

This whole thing needs to be put to bed. As long as Folau keeps his mouth shut and gets on with playing that's all what needs to be reported.

So you believe inclusivity includes banning committed Christians? Murphy, Karalius etc were all Roman Catholics, indeed the game and the Church have a strong historical connection. NB there is a distinction between Old and New Testaments.

On the question of title sponsor, government has already told football to reduce its reliance on betting company’s for sponsorship, hinting of a change in law coming. So, writing is on the wall there anyway.

I wouldn't want to ban anyone just for having certain beliefs.
However, if those beliefs were regurgitated and in direct conflict of other groups playing the sport then, of course something needs to be done.

I said in a previous post that if ANY supporter was shouting some of his views from the stands, they would be ejected from the ground and very likely banned and yet, it's ok for a player to "go public" with those views

But he is de facto being tolerant on other players etc who act in ways contrary to his beliefs and yet others are not tolerant of his firmly held beliefs. Now that is crazy and dangerous.

Are you suggesting that by playing RL, he is in fact going against his own beliefs ?

Hence he will have his contract ripped up if he breaks the terms of his deal.
