This is huge news. This is no unfit, overweight whopper like Burrell. This is a bona fide rugby union star who was all blacks player of the year last year
Years in existence and average attendance

Leigh Centurions - 100+ years / Circa 3k
Wakefield Wildcats - 100+ years / Circa 4k
Toronto Wolfpack - 3 years / 9k

Will be interesting to see if this happens?

I think his being a bit arrogant to name the Rosters or the Storm as destinations as no guarantee either of those sides want him but yes a RU player in his prime wanting to come to RL is a good thing.

Interesting? But Is it just me that this smacks of an agent’s ploy to get more cash from his current employer?

He is 16 so has less time for Union to ruin him. To be fair they game of RU is better than when Gallagher was playing so any player who does switch is less likely to fail.
Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

Exactly this.
A couple of pointed questions from a journo and you have headline news.
Cant see them "letting him" go and he will either be in for a pay rise or, be ostracised for daring to mention Rugby League.
