As September rolls on we start to get clubs eyeing up 2021, lets hope the virus doesn't wipe the championship out again.

Straight out of the starting blocks are Leigh and with Blake Wallace and Jamie Ellis signed, they are now after Albert Kelly.

Nice to see Mr. Beaumont committing to another season and significant investment........As hinted by his statement that took Leigh out of the mini-tournament....

What a d1ck DB is. Remove from furlough and crack on. What exactly is cracking on when only S.L. are training and playing.

Calm down. The 1895 cup might be starting up in just over 3 months time. Be prepared at all times for any eventualities, how do you think DB became such a successful businessman ?

"Happy to remove my players from furlough and crack on" doesn't mean that he has removed them or indeed will do.
It just means that he would be prepared to.

I have to say that if Leigh have given out contract to those 2/3 players, they are certainly being very brave.
Nobody knows what the next 6 months have in store and to hand out hefty contracts could be a huge gamble.

Dont want to turn this into a covid thread but, the numbers suffering with the virus are going to grow like hell this winter and who the hell knows if/when crowds will be watching life sort again.

Having said that, these are big signings and it looks like Leigh may be the club to beat (if the season starts and finishes).

I thought the OP only gave his support to wealthy owners who ran academies?

Changeable as the weather - unless it is about overseas clubs.
