Well with the play offs bringing more intensity to the games some players are going to be missing the biggest game of their careers through incidents that in previous years would not merit any more than a penalty . Watch this space

Players just need to adapt their game (esp. high shots) rather than blaming the officials.

I guess with 6 or so rounds to the GF players like Bentley run a tightrope (or perhaps a clothesline...) every week.

I am talking about missing the big one for running in to someone or an accidental trip

Nah, people in shirts and ties need to stop changing the rules every season to look like they're doing something to justify the salaries.

You're right, they're obsessed with fixing something that isn't broke, then making matters worse.

The tribunal system has become a joke. Mainly due to the inconsistencies. Contact to the head is a classic example. The Laws of the Game strictly prohibit intentional, reckless or careless contact with the head
and/or neck of an opponent. So when the findings say initial contact was with the shoulder is that not reckless or careless. Yet after the early season blitz of bans we now see this given as an excuse for no charge. Crusher tackles have become non existent, unless the victim lies on the floor until a medical team come on. There are others, but the lack of any consistency makes the whole process flawed.

no they wont- unless its a real shocker the players will get away without a ban, just like they dont card them during a final the same.

tetavano will probably cop himself a 6 week ban, last round of the regular season, so it wont be an issue
