It's only the first game of the season but, the way in which Wire destroyed Leeds tonight may mean that finally, it's their year ?

Only kidding but, it was a convincing win v last seasons beaten finalists.

Leeds were missing quite a few and Smith apparently said they weren't quite ready. But us Wire fans will take that performance anyday, that first half was probably the best we've played, bar the CC win v Saints, since the success in the Smith era which seems a long time ago now.

Absolutely not.

They have Daryl Powell, Ryan Sheridan, and Daryl Clarke. They all reek of 'quick-play-the-balls-get-a-roll-on-thrash-teams-in-regular-rounds' rugby. They might finish top, they might even make the final.

100% won't win it. I've seen this one before.

Leeds are awful. Man for man they are average at best. Don’t listen to their fans who think they are gf challengers.

Once Warrington play proper teams like St Helens, Wigan and Catalans, this will give us a good idea of where they are

Starting to worry? Where have you been? Had to block these insane ramblings! No reason why Wire can't win the comp if they maintain those standards. Can't see it coming east of the Pennines again for a while.

Huddersfield look like a decent team this season. Could quite easily mix it up in the playoffs and Watson is a good coach.
