Rumour doing the rounds that we are making a move for Leutele with 4 players going to Toronto on loan. Clever business taking advantage of their current situation if true. No idea how we fit him under cap though, hes on big money.

If that is the case we seem to be saddling ourselves with some commitments with the playing roster. We have a reserve competition & dual reg. with Widnes to provide for & possibly 4 to Toronto. Is this Lutele a good player Gaz or likely to be another journeyman.

We could put Jonathan Davies in his prime at centre but if we don't have the mindset, structure, desire or intent to attack then it's a waste.

I would imagine that the investors must be wondering why we have to panic buy when they have been coughing up throughout the close season.

Attention should be being put on the coaching and management of the current set-up before helping out others

And so they should be wondering.

What amazes me is that we seem to have a poor scouting system in place. We are regularly signing long term injury plagued players ,idle deadbeats or too many bods with recreational issues. And whoever we get is at the bottom of the barrel when other clubs have had their pick.

I would take him. He's class but he's on mega money at Toronto. Can't see it.

If Gelling is ‘removed’ from the club will he still count on the cap this year?

Can’t think of 4 expendable players to bring 1 body in at the minute

Been saying this for donkeys years and Burrell could be another one added to the long list of big reputation signings that come to nothing.
