Watching the cup game, he looks fit and sharp.
How long is he contracted to Salford for as with Widdop off home could we afford him and another prop or is yet another Aussie halfback lined up to fail us?
If the target is Trueman then are we sure he'd leave cas?

It is an “absolutely not” from me. We don’t need another centre, and 1 decent game in a long while seems a gamble too far to me.
Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Watkins had a good game and didn't look like he hadn't played in months. Pleased for Salford, if only to see Catalan and their ex-pie contingent getting dumped on.

By Salford and theirs :D

Watkins has signed for 3 seasons at Salford. He looked really sharp tonight and in far better shape than when he left superleague.

He had a good debut for Salford and it will be interesting to see If he keeps up a good level of performance. Agree with CH that a centre is not top of our list of requirements.
