| was he injured???? as for bad mouthing i think the verdict on the ref was quite vocal from both sets of fans, also tempers were high due to the officials being clueless as how to deal with the scuffles.at half time when it went off AGAIN, the ref held everyone up then after 5 mins pointed to the tunnel. I love going to batley its 1 i look forward to never any probs between fans so it was a show of unity towards the officials, it is also great that fans of other clubs came to the game but you cannot get excited or angry when your team is not involved. we won a very tight game yes weren`t pretty but not many teams get much going up that bloomin hill so when your at your designated club next time AVE A LISTEN TO YOUR OWN FANS THEN POST ON HERE.

Re bad mouthing at the end ? The ref and one of his Touch Judges were boo,d off for abysmal displays.
Come to our next match and discuss it perhaps ?

| I haven't got a clue what you are talking about!
My son and I were at the match and at no point did I hear anyone cheering when an injury occurred (I don't even know to which one you are referring!).
As for the end of the match the only jeering was at the officials who had made some strange decisions.
I think Boomer is just a trouble maker trying to create an issue where none exists.
The only person letting the RL family down is him or her.

| Officials were justfiably given stick at the end after a terrible display.
Only 'cheer' for anything resembling an injury was when their left winger took a big hit in the second half, but he was only winded and it was a perfectly legal tackle. If anything, the cheer was for the hit (especially as there was a decent chance they'd have scored had he broken the line) rather than any resultant knock.

| Surely the only 'long injury' was to Donlan does the author not realise that we were the team playing in blue?

| must say some of our fans this season have gone over the top, i know i got a tad excited at sheffield, and some of the more unsavoury chants i personally dislike, but thought yesterday was fine to be honest.

'" I saw a Batley player get injured in second half it came from a big hit and he came out of it grimmacing holding his wrist and i think he was substituted ,the fans did cheer but it was because he came off worse and not for the injury as he had his back to our fans so they would'nt have seen him in pain.
