For all who have any involvement in Leigh Centurions be they owners/directors/players and fans to stand up and be counted

We poor much scorn on our neighbours from the borough with their use of an early exit when things are not to their liking

But a couple of years ago when they found themselves in a similar position to where we are now they did ' come to the aid of the party '

We are all dissapointed and unhappy at the way things are going this year , that dissapointment is felt at all levels of the club

I'm sure the players/coaching staff realise they have a job to do now to turn us round and avoid what would be a dissaster for our club

We all wanted to keep promotion to SL , and as part of that we all have to accept that we too can and will move down as well as up , we cannot have the positive without the negative

So if you are a Leigh Centurions RL fan , now is the time to ask yourself what are you going to do , sulk and refuse to go , or stand up to be counted and give as much support to YOUR team as you can in what could become our darkest hour

Well having slept on it, and although I shall continue to attend games, I am still annoyed about yesterdays "performance".

At the LISA meeting last week I mentioned one players inability to defend and the coaching staff thought I was talking rubbish. The player I mentioned isn,t even our worst defender I didn,t see the point of mentioning that because you would have to be blind not to see who that is.

I also asked about centres, without mentioning names, it wasn,t a surprise when they mentioned the name of the player I was talking about and he had to be injured because he wasn,t selected yesterday.

Whilst I would prefer to see our best potential players start a game I thought we had 4 players who came out who were limping before a ball was kicked. I mean Donlan Armistead Leulai and Taylor or did they all pick up those injuries in the first 2 minutes?

Will this team get better ? It can,t because they are not up to Championship standard and we are devoid of attacking ideas. That, is bad enough, but our defence is even worse and I have missed 1 game this season which was against the Russians.

Our current team is pathetic.

Frank i was also upset by the score but felt most of the players if not all did not deserve booing and some of the filth that was screamed at them.
young stanton for instance, did he deserve it? because im sure he felt it was aimed at him even though he ran his blood to water.

So come on Leigh supporters follow starbugs call to arms or go support saints

Stand up and be counted!?!?! The Fans!?!?!?

The fans have stood by for years, watching us get battered by every team in rugby league, PAID THERE MONEY (which is not cheap when you can watch better rugby league at Miners)

We have no offensive moves, no playmaker, no passion, players have no respect 4 the coach, we can't defend......shall I go on?!?! Don't really think I need to tho!!!

We have a good set of players, i truely believe that, but the CLUB IS COMPLETELY WRONG AT THE TOP & HAS TO CHANGE!!!!!

Why should people get P!ssed off and depressed on a Sunday afternoon by watching that shower of e?!?

I know i'll get people moaning about this, but I really dont care!!! I have wasted too much of my hard earned money to continue flogging a dead horse - which unfortunatley is my team!!!

I hope most of you know I have a soft spot for Leigh and I take no real pleasure in seeing what is happening. The defeat was bad enough, but the crowd? That is deeply worrying. I hope you pull through so we can have the two derby games next season.

Whilst I am down about our team I won,t be giving up on them but I have no intention of defending the indefencible. The rugby we are playing is boring predictable and not in the least bit entertaining.

I will be there at all home games (stopped going to away games for other reasons). I may have a miserable look on my face but I will be there. The club will always have a place in my heart however boring it is to watch. We all care passionately about our club but if anyone on here truly believes that boycotting the club until things change will do anything other than harm then they are mad. We need a rallying call from someone somewhere to stop this downward spiral we are finding ourselves in. We are on the verge of falling into the abyss and if the fans start to vote with their feet we are doomed!

I've been saying this for a long time. Yesterday was the first time since the pre season warm ups that I've been to LSV.
It'll be the last time until those two clowns have gone.

Im with you \starbug.the lads did not go out to loose,heads may have dropped rather easily BUT..what good will abusing the players do..ZILCH.COME ON YOU LEYTHERS!!!

And applauding performances like yesterday will effectively endorse such tripe.

Back to the original topic - completely agree Starbug, but we've got two weeks for yesterday's inquest; you need to re-post the rallying call a couple of days before the 'Haven game, once things have calmed down and we can concentrate on the job in hand.

There are alot of ex fans that feel this way.

I have watched Leigh home and away for many years and will continue to do so. But jeepers it's pretty poor Rugby to watch.

Warrington was pretty poor until they got a new coach and now they look much better. Being a good player doesn't automatically make a good coach.
