was it a white van logo'ed up with SURVEY markings and a turret like structure on the roof?
If so they were round 'our road' a week or so ago.

No they're in a car with a tall tripod thing on top with a 360 degree camera - you can't miss it if you see it - I'm not sure whether the cars are also marked 'Google Street View'.

Yes they've got a little sign on the driver and passenger door. I saw one of their black Astras yesterday.
