SADDLEWORTH 8 V 22 LEIGH MINERS

MINERS KEPT THERE UNBEATEN RUN GOING WITH A 22-8 VICTORY ON A WINDY COLD NIGHT IN THE MOORS. THE PITCH WAS A MUDBATH WITH BOTH TEAMS FIGHTING IT OUT IN THE OPENING HALF, MINERS TAKING A TIGHT HALF 10-6 AT THE INTERVAL. IN THE 2ND HALF MINERS SCORED 3 UNCONVERTED TRIES TO A SADDLEWORTH PENALTY GIVING THE FINAL SCORE 22-8.

MINERS ARE AT HOME TO CELTIC CRUSADERS ON SUNDAY IN THERE FINAL LEAGUE GAME, THE GAME WILL BE A DRESS REHEARSAL FOR THE THE PLAYOFF GAME TO REACH THE GRAND FINAL.

Also hope it is East v Miners final. Because the last game they played was a cracker. Felt sore just watching it.
