Full credit to Batley, they wanted it more and showed far more ingenuity, guile, strength and pace than we could hope for on that form. We just couldn't cope with them out wide, very impressive performance from the Dogs.
As for Leyth, utter bobbins. Poorly organised defence, the (lack of) quality in the majority of last tackle plays was a joke and the forwards were far too soft down the middle; little wonder than Ridyard, Watson and, once he came on, Durbin had bugger all to build upon.
On the subject of Durbin, can't for the life of me understand why we wait until nearly the hour mark to bring him on, and even then I don't think it was clear whether he should have been at dummy half or Jock; was a good few occasions where they got in each others way in such a situation.
After getting lucky last week, this has got to be a big wake up call.
