It will only benefit Leigh with him playing at Lavington until he's ready to come over as it means he should be more or less match fit by the time he arrives over here.

Lets hope he's over ASAP.

The date on the paper says 7th may so his visa application will be a week further on and Leigh Reporter does say he could be here in two weeks .

Good luck to him if he does - sounds like a quality act. If he comes to us busting a gut (not literally I hope) for a SL contract then we can only benefit from it.
