Never nice when a family pet disappears... We had that happen many years ago.

We lost our dog once , but had an interesting time asking people if they had seen him

" Have you seen a dog ? , What does it look like ? , well its a collie Lurcher cross but it is wearing a yellow T shirt with Bumblebees on it ?

I kid you not , He was wearing a yellow T shirt with bumblebees on it as he had ripped the side of hie stomache open on the fence round the Edna rd club and the vet had told us to cover the wound to stop him licking it

This was at about ten o clock on a saturday night

Some of them thought we were on drugs

When I was 13 we moved from Higher Folds to near Firs Park and our Nero got out and went missing. Ten days later when I went back to school after the hols my mates told me he had been seen and heard outside our old house on Higher Folds. I cant describe the joy when I found him again. I know what your mum and dad feel like.

Glad you've found him Cant imagine losing my dog and hope its not something i'd ever have to experience.

My dad lost ours loads of times , after a walk round the flash he used to bugger off round the top of Laxey crescent so my dad would go home for a brew and then drive back to the top of Laxey half an hour later were the lazy bugger would be waiting for a lift home in the car

No idea what he used to get up to

I've been looking for a dog myself, but now I'm not sure I can go through that kind of agony again if anything happened.

Wife says once our golden retriver dies she doesnt want any more they are like one of the family
