the comments by the lads and people from the club on Twitter don't look like the comments of people who want to leave. The more I see this the more i think it was Ryan who has been unsettled by rowley and now is chasing the money! The team spirit on show yesterday was quality! We didmt miss Ryan one bit charnock slotted in nicely and riddy to step up like that was a unreal show of commitment! We have gaz hock at our club who doesn't care about coming out and saying what's what! If there was a problem at Leigh hock would of told us by now! Big win yesterday and it's time to say goodbye to the dead wood and move on! Leigh centurions is a big club and will never ever miss one player or coach

Some of us still miss Woody and Des though.

great effort by the lads yesterday .To lose Lee Smith just before the kick off was a major blow .Thought Riddy was superb and its obvious Higham is playing despite carrying a leg injury.Thought our forwards ran some great lines and when we get back up to having a full squad some team is going to get a right hammering

We'll be reet, these events couldn't have been planned for and the timing is shocking. Some sheeite needs sorting sooner rather than later, we will get players back who want to be here and let the rest rot (hopefully without pay) and bring in a couple to cover the gaps in the backline.

Still fancy us for SL 2017, probably even more so now

You're right about the wrong time however we have now played the other full time teams and not lost. Imagine what could happen when players start coming back to fitness

Teams with similar injury lists to us such as Leeds and Hudds have had awful starts to the season. They are established top 4 SL teams and haven't had the added blow of losing their Head Coach on the eve of the new season or all the other rubbish we've had to put up with and haven't coped half as well as we have.

We have had a very very difficult run of fixtures whilst being battered with injuries and bad news from all sides and yet we are still only 1 point off top spot.

Think Jukes and his team deserve a lot of credit for that. Not that it gets any easier with Halifax away up next!

Surely Ryan has played his last match for the club - and whilst many fans will prefer to slate him, I will be wishing him well because he has scored some wonderful tries for Leigh and a damn lot of them too!! And let's be honest, there wasn't many things better than seeing Brierley go the full length of the field at the LSV, leaving the opposition totally deflated.

Yes, I know, a lot of the stories lately point to Brierley not being fair or honest, and maybe even for some time too, but nobody can say that the young lad hasn't given his all for Leigh when on the pitch.

So good luck, Ryan, but have a think about how you might need to alter your approach to off-the-field stuff in the future.

What some folk need to remember is that Brierley is still young. And I know how daft and easily-influenced I often was when I was his age!!!

the goings on have been unsavoury but the online dialog has matched it too at times.

It is now time to draw a line under Brierley's Leigh career and support the players actually playing.
