We had nearly an hours drinking time, all the traffic was going the other way.
I go with the time the coach firm say. They know best. well hopefully

i may of missed it, but do we know the official reason why we that is leigh agreed to the switch.

I bet it comes down to preparation time - afterall we then have the small matter of Widnes on Good Friday - a week later.

the prep time was in the minds of the leigh club, but wakey were concerned about the two tv games on the same day, sunday

i understand that, but by playing on the friday has given us 2 days less time to recover from the donny game, but i am assuming kelly knows we've no chance against wakey, so by going for the friday will then give us the extra days for the game we know we're in with a chance of winning, still annoying as its supposed to be a spectator sport, but when are our views taken into account.

agree completely


there was a time when professional sportsmen liked to test themselves against the best or more elite, not just roll over, as seems to be the case here


even wath brow, kells, sharlston etc "had a reet good go", one of which lives to fight another day!!!

Agree totally.
When the RFL & Clubs start crying poverty and asking fans for "loyalty" later in the season perhaps they'll remember the long term damage done when messing with such fixtures for short term gains.

There's more chance of us beating Widnes than Wakefield and despite me being an old cup romatic and would love to see maybe 1000 Leythers stood in the sun behind the goal at BV on a Sunday afternoon, the Good Friday game is more important.

I'll still be there though.

well why not maurice, tell you wehat it states in the league express armistead has a outside chance of playing on friday, sorry nk a big mistake if you risk him in this game, i personally would rather see armistead fully recovered and fit playing against widnes, were in all honesty he would have a positive impact on the result, were as frisday he in all respect to him won't make a difference.
