We need a shop in the town centre in a good spot...... the old streetwise sports is ideal. Could also relocate the ticket office there - the rent would be cheaper and will make more profit for O`Neills and the club as people dont tend to walk all the way to the LSV shop on a weekday to have a look around the shop. In the town centre would make more sense.

It stinks reallly, I think a PUBLIC MEETING , would be a good idea instead of the LISA meeting this month, hold at the biggest room in town invite LSV management and lets thrash it all out. IMHO if somethings not done quick we are in danger of it being too late.

Absolutely, now's the time to unite. A public meeting with the LSV management is what's required......and soon.

The way they are going there will be nothing left to divide and conquer.

And when they've finished they can have a lovely new (empty) stadium they can be very proud of. After all we don't want to ruin it by actually playing sports there or, god forbid, people going inside to watch do we?

Heaven forbid! How dare you insinuate that men, women, and children can actually go to the L.S.V and actually watch and /or participate in sport!

The old card shop opposite Lloyds TSB would be cheaper rent I imagine, and would still be more than big enough.

Well I am truly shocked at what Im reading here ,

Every single resident of the LSV from Leigh Athleic to Leigh Centurions and their fans have been shafted good style and are being slowly bled dry and forced out , even the Park Inn Hotel is planning to sue the council because the facilities and passing trade that was promised never came to pass .

How do they expect what are really amatuer clubs who suvive on money they generate themselves to pay these outrageous prices when all that was promised never materialised ,

Where's the Multi-plex Cinena and the Bowling Alley ? , Where are all the shops and resteraunts and the the Tesco that was coming and the bus service that was going to provide the passing trade that could have gone for a pint and a bar snack at the Easts or the Harier / Athletic or O'Neil's cub shop , they are charging well over the odds and provided or are giving nothing back .'

I would like to hear Mr Chairmans veiw on this topic ,

We've read Optomist's veiw of things from the Harriers and the footy clubs and we all know that Leigh and the fans got stuffed , but if they could would they go back to their old gound as it was or leave this White Elephant ( and the bills ) that is the LSV behind ? .

I await Mr C's opinion ( so I'll give him a nudge ) ,

Olympic Games in this country in 2012 and kids are being priced out of playing sport .
