THe landlord from the OUR HOUSE pub has been in touch and we have arranged these speical deals;

From the Barrow Home game onwards, All LIsa Members using the Pub will get 10 per cent discount on their drinks by showing their membership card from 12 till 2.15 and will be provided with a free mini bus to the ground. Non Members can use the bus if there is any room left at a charge of £2 return. The Landlord will also put on free food, for LISA members.

ON away matchs from now on the coach will pick up at St Marys way as usaual and then on to the Texaco Garage on Leigh Road, this is for any LISA member, taking advantage of the Landlord at the Our House pub,s offer of discounted drinks to members before catching the coach to away games. he will look at putting on food if enough people use the pub and after the away matches.

This is an excellant offer and I am extremely grateful to Wayne the Landlord for these offers. I hope enough people use it as its a very good offer. Thank You Wayne.

BTW Anyone whos not yet joined LISA, the benefits are knowing you are helping YOUR CLUB fund players and also there are many discounts and offers coming in now from the club and other businesses for being a member. For example anyone whos used the coaches so far will have saved £3 each already and had chance to win tickets, DVDs etc. ALso now discounted drinks before games.

Thats the spirit Frank.

Our lot tend to vary meeting up places at the minute - dunno if thats because of more options, trying to keep different people happy, or because we just haven't settled into a routine yet. Most of us are LISA members, though, so I'll certainly throw Our House into the mix now as another option.

As long as he cleans his lines and turns out decent beer (i wont hold my breath) it could be a good move.
And before anybody jumps on me ive been in a couple of times over the last few weeks and the ale was sh!te.
