Just in case you may be interested. We played Azza's team today, the Auckland Vulcans and I had a good old chat with him for the first time in years. He's on the fringe of playing for the Warriors in the NRL and has actually been 18th man on a couple of occasions. The most noticable being when the Warriors played Manly at Brookvale. Stacey jones hadn't trained all week, but was declared OK to play on the day of the game. He came off the bench and won the game. Anyway had he not been passed fit. Azza was going to make his debut.

Maybe worth keeping an eye on future Warriors line ups this season just in case a former Leigh player plays in the NRL.

as long as he never comes back to england to play for anyone then he can do what he wants. we got a good enough squad now without him anyway.

Good luck to him. Nice guy with plenty of skills, which weren't necessarily utilised properly, at Leigh. (IMO)

A good player who didn't really discover his best position when playing for us. Not sure he'd get a particularly great reception if he returned to Leigh with another club though.

Playing at hooker, though yesterday slipped back into half back as their first choice one was injured.
