The commentary tem of Ray French & Jonathan Davies are, not to put too fine a point on it, absolute sh!te.

Nearly a minute of play goes by before a comment is made about what is happening out on the field.

They were too busy dicussing the pitch and what colour Jerseys each team were wearing.

French is well past it, and Davies' comments resemble something which eminated from the back end of our dog.

I can't believe I find myself saying this, but I'd much rather listen to Our Dave's commentary (and those who know me will know that a: that is saying something, and B: that those comments aren't to be taken lightly).

I backed Wigan back in March at 8-1 to win the cup so its a fair enough draw the welshman is boring but is this an interesting new side to him

today was probably not his greatest hour, but overall, jonathan reads the game very well, and is very articulate


in fact, i thought the bbc's coverage was superb over the two days

I have to say the on off comentary of the Hud/Cas game on 5Live was good. The end comments from him were a first class advert for our game.

I'd love a Huddersfield v Warrington final to be honest.

It's about time someone different won the Cup and a Final without the "big boys" would do the game a world of good.
