joke of a club but i feel deeply for there fans,they should not be allowed to be treated like this.

Obviously feel for the Salford fans given their club's situation but I'm far more concerned about the potential impact on our own cashflow preparations for the season.

The reasoning given on the Salford website ("We felt it was better to give the boys an extended break over Christmas and prepare ourselves fully for the Swinton game on 6 January") reads as a bit of a p1sstake for me though.

From a quick scout around I think St.Helens, Bradford, Castleford, Hull & Hull kr could be potential replacements for Salford, we really need to replace this fixture for our own cash flow & preparation.

How about a game against Leigh east? They could do with some cash even more than us and I'm pretty sure we'd get an even bigger crowd than playing Salford?

Lets be honest Salford have more serious problems than merely carrying 'a few knocks'

That statement reads as a hasted and very badly executed attempt at spin.

Hardly a surprise its off really if you have been following the situation.
