Leigh Centurions are 3-1 with Skybet to finish top of the League , personally i think this is not a bad bet , and i may have a couple of Shillings on them , after losing our first two League matches last season we went on to finish second , but this season i think we are much stronger .

We may have a few injuries for next week ,that is just life in Sport , but i think we may suprise Fev on Sunday , i wont make any score predictions till i see the 17 PR chooses, but on the Fev Forum thay are expecting a very close game .



Im looking forward to the coming season very much ,its always good to see the Leigh fans again , hope to see the usual Die-hards and maybe a few new fans at Fev , to cheer the lads on .

Charlie do you not think that this season will be the most difficult to predict?. We have no idea how the D/C Twinning set up will work and for who if any it will give a much elevated league position because of the quality available to them from their Twinned club, which quite rightly we do not have .

I honestly think it will make very little difference to the top 5 positions in the Championship.



An example of this was when we played Wigan on January 6.

Ste i think this season will be very competitive , and hard to predict , but i cant see the top 4 teams in the League changing from last season , and as these said top 4 teams dont have any D/Cs in their ranks then it wont matter .



Our Squad if much Stronger this year , more competition for places , Ryan Brierley is a year older , hopefully stronger to , im expecting a good season again from Riddy , complemented by Penky , and i feel Fev will be strong , but we will be stronger , thats all , Fev are even money , to win the League and i feel at 3-1 we are more value .

Seems a value bet to me.

I will watch how we go next Sunday before I decide wether to back us more. Got 5 to 1 a month ago.

With at least 5 of our paltry squad of 23 missing i don't think next Sunday will be any indicator. Although you may get better than 3-1 on Monday morning.

I think what makes this a tasty contest is the unknowns new season for both new players etc etc...should be a cracker

Cushy my Friend , always good to hear from you ,being one of the more Knowledgable Fev fans , i agree should be a cracker ,wont have much bearing on the League though as its far to early , though im happier to be playing at Fev first .



Im not to sure what your Team will be , but ive heard possible doubts over Saxton and Smeaton ?Both these two have created havoc against us recently

i rate them , i think you will also miss Capt Dickens this season .



Anyway it all bodes for a Classic new season cant wait , i hope we get a good turnout on Sunday , plenty Leythers in attendance , good atmosphere , Charlies prediction ,Fev 22 v Leigh 26 ,just my thoughts .
