If I read it correctly he could have played against Rochdale. Widnes have omitted Danny Craven, Jack Owens, Anthony Gelling, Jordan Johnstone, Dan Norman and Sam Wilde which was predictable so ideal game to get up to speed. Perhaps he already had holidays booked.
