Good evening, Charles, hope you are well.
Missed tonight but will be there on Sunday. Tonight seems to have answered some questions about Widnes' early season points fest. After York's last two results, Bongser would expect 3-4 points for each of his pounds against Noocassel, especially at HQ (though we will ship the newly traditional four points).
A more interesting game will be the one in the C-Cup on Bradford's slutch pile after the debacle on a similar pitch at Fev. Bongser (with his slow to non-existent metabolism) will duck that one too as, at this time of year the coldest places in England are Odsal and The Reebok (waddever).
Over at Fax though.
Was Nene rested tonight (to the detriment of your Fantasies) or has he picked up a knock?
All in all Bongser a good team effort , we started like a house on fire , then became a bit sloppy , but came out early second half and blew them away , some very good performances from Mellor , Aekins , Stone , and Wardle , Sidlow was losing his rag at one stage , and Ioane was given a yellow card , but there was only ever gonna be one winner .
McDonald was said to have a slight knock , so wasn’t risked , but I thought young Roberts who replaced him had a good game , we should get past the Geordies , and it will be difficult at Odsal , but we are getting better each .
Myself I’m ok , my health is improving , I will be at the LSV on Sunday , onwards and upwards.
