Salford are playing quite well and may have their points deduction reduced. Hull K R have just thumped Wakefield Wildcats. Even if we play well enough to string together a few wins, will we catch anyone?
Forget the other sides the current problem is about us and it's time to face the facts that we are having a rubbish season and deserve to be 11th.
Back in January Anderson said we are changing the training regime to be faster, attack from different areas as the previous regime had not produced and it was the way to cut out the 'chokers' tag and go on and win the Grand Final.
From my seat at the match it appears to be just the opposite we've dropped from 3rd to 11th will be playing at Leigh, London, Featherstone, Batley or Halifax and rolling the dice to avoid a relegation play off.
We chanced a 'skinny squad' got injuries, lost Ferres and Robinson and got ' bit up the bum' big style.
On the back of one win in Newcastle the world is good, we are all doom mongers and Anderson is vindicated.
But once again we can't back it up even after leading 16-0 surely its still time to go back to being the 'boring achievers' ??
Let's respect the possession, not miss too many tackles, clean up our crappy ruck defence and just compete hard win or lose that's bearable.
We need Hull KR, Salford etc talking about us then we might be on the mend !!
