With Ashton Golding unavailable until late May (at least) what are the options for full back?

In no particular order of preference:
Gaskell full back, Cogger in halves.
Mcintosh full back, Senior on wing.
Senior full back.
Mcintosh full back, Leutele on wing, Cudjoe centre.
and I think others will be able to name more combinations.
I'm sure Mr Watson will have it sorted.

Why do a lot of our players get injured - particularly in preseason??

It would never have happened when Greg Brown was at the club!!

Two pre-seasons with us and both times Ashton has got crocked. Rotten luck.

FB role so vital for attack and defence,makes this news even more grim.

The season start being put back is an advantage now as AG will miss less SL rounds,also give the new selection at 1 more time to work with the half backs.

I'd like McIntosh to move into the position that he's played before.He proved he had a good all round game suited to full back.

Judging from when Evalds got a long term injury at Salford,I don't see Watson putting an inexperienced player into full back.

I personally think Watson will go with Gaskell at FB and Cogger in the halves, feel like that will solve the problem of which halves to pick for him

It will either be Darnell or Gaskell at full back. No point in having a squad and then not using them. Some talking about us bringing another full back in. Cannot see us spending more money just to cover a couple of months

Ollie Ashall-Boll signed on a one year deal to address the fullback situation. Played for Watson on loan at Salford last year. I thought he looked a decent prospect when he was at Widnes, so competition for Golding when he returns to fitness. Makes you wonder if Golding's injury is worse than reported.

Yes i had tried and suceeded in blotting him from my memory bank ,looking at wikipedia incredibly he played for the rest of the world against Australia can only think someone else must have pulled out and he was there as a spectator.Didn't his time with us come to an abrupt end following a police incident ?
