Given that Michael was hauled off against Widnes when we were a SH down and did not make the 17 against the Giants would it be safe to say that TR is not too keen on him at present? Maybe he has an injury. He has certainly not pulled up any trees as the Stoop so far and his defence is questionable. Given that Salford are short of halves maybe he could go there on loan and Oscar Thomas be given a go at 6.

Any thoughts?.................

Yes you're talking rubbish. He has injured his groin. His goal kicking is invaluable. Thomas isn't ready.

Getting to be a habit with our halves. Something wrong with conditioning routines or just coincidence/bad luck?

His goal kicking is invaluable.

It's good but we have plenty of alternatives. And, fit or not, his defence is an issue and, at this stage in his career, it's not likely to be fixed.

A headache for TR, that's for sure.

Both our halves get groin strains in the first half of the first game of the season?

Gower is a better goal-kicker in my book. I asked TR at the HAC who would be goal-kicking this season. He said " It depends who plays".

No player at this club should be above criticism.

Witt should be jettisoned, along with Howell.

Even dafter, both Powell and Rea have put these two contact dodgers alongside each other in a defensive line.

seems to be a confidence player, when he has a smile on his face he is the player that looked good at Manly, Warriors and Crusaders.

When he looks sheepish he looks like he really looks insecure in his own abilities, be they defensive or offensive. Tony Rea needs to put some time into letting him know that he was given the 6 jersey for a reason and that he is relied on, valued and a valuable member of the team.

That's the way I read it anyways.

He sole purpose @ the Broncos is to be a chance to practice rhyming slang. A shame 'cos he looked a decent player @ the Warriors & Crudasers

Can't understand why you're all ganging up on Witt...we've got worse defenders than him (and bear in mind he is carrying an injury as was the case a lot of last year).

Why not pick on Fusi? He's only made 14 carries and 90 metres over the last two games (half of what Wheeldon has managed). He's shaping up to be the big disappointment for me.

Still, I live in hope that both these two will come good at some point (hopefully while they are still Broncos).
