Would there be any point in repeating this exercise? 16 games into the season and we are at the foot of the table with no chance of getting anywhere near a play-off spot and seemingly with a team that has large sections that don't care enough to put in the effort.

Personally, if we're going to finish last, then I'd rather do it with young players who will at least go down fighting.

Yep, but as Rooster has stated, Tony Rea has his feelers out over here for next season.

But in reality we are a seller club, just like my hometown football club Exeter City. But the difference is that Exeter has the nous to get transfer fees for their youngsters and based on that it is we survive year on year (ie Antony Moxey at Palace, Jamie Mackie at QPR, Ryan Harley at Brighton, Matt Taylor at Charlton).

We on the other hand don't because the Wig*ns and S* He*ens of this world we grab them if they are SL standard at the end of their contracts. That is just the nature of how we operate. Perhaps if we were a bit more crafty in our player contracts we to can be like Exeter, a 4th divsion football club in deepest darkest devon that attracts 4,000 average crowds.

Good point GF but it need not take as long as last years farce......very simple exercise on the back of a fag packet........and the conclusion is that TR and his team are every bit as bad as Rob Powell and team.....and we remain pants both on and off the pitch. There you go Gus, you can file that with the rest of your in-depth research.

- Fire Tony Rea, employ Danny Orr on a 3-year contract.
- Fire Gus Mackay, employ literally anyone else - Mitt Romney, Glasgow baggage handler-cum terrorist scurge John Smeaton, former Olympic medallist Duncan Goodhew
- Sit down with Phil Bailey and Danny Orr, and, if Bailey hasn't got very far with planning for 2014 recruitment by now, fire him too.

Play junior league games on Saturday afternoons thereby striping out support from the youth of london attending home games that kick off at 3.00pm. Come to think of it senior teams also play saturday afternoons.

Mid-season review or clear out. There are 12/13 players whose contracts end this year are any of those to be renewed?

I believe that Bailey, Bryant, Channing, Colbon, Cook, Dorn, Howell, Hurst, Lovell, Melling, O'Callaghan, Randall and Sarginson all have contracts that end this year. Is that correct?

Will they be replaced? Given I thought Bryant had an exemption, that a number are home grown therefore help balance the imports, a blanket clear out would seem strange. Given there are at least one or two you'd want to keep a blanket policy would seem doubly strange.

Rebuilding or just giving up.

2) Just how much longer can you survive without any noticeable support ?
