Big expectations at HKR unfortunately. They do have a decent team though but like most of us have been passed by Hudds in the pecking order.

if it was just the single game I'd agree with you, but the "rant" has its history in a number of shocking thaler displays against us starting with the incredible penalty try win at wakey last season that even left the boots n all crowd speechless (that takes some doing).

Up to now justin has bit his lip several times after shoddy thaler performances but I think this one was just one too far, and I think he was quite right to blow his top on this occassion despite the fact it might cost him a few quid, stuart cummings is about as much use as a fart in a space suit and going through the proper channels in the past has got us nowhere so airing his grievance in public is really the only option. In no way did it cost us victory against hudds who were the better side as justin said himself in the full interview that was broadcast on the radio (not just the bits that were printed).

Now I know all refs have bad games, all refs make glaring howlers, but thalers performances against us are incredible. glad to see bentham this week even though he is not perfect, at least you have a chance of a bit of even handedness. Looking forward to a good game on sunday, if the quins tickets ever arrive at rovers still not got them from your club yet!

I think Thaler is the worst of them all. Fans said they were glad to see Klein go. why they cant see that his replacement is gonna be worse I dont know. I thought Klein was the best ref we had. Shows how different fans views are.

That was the worse decision he has made, but unfortunately, he's made howlers in the National League days too...

personally think ganson is the best even if he is prone to the odd strop if you get on the wrong side of him, but I see where your coming from with the Klown, thought he was a pretty good ref on the whole and not far off ganson, also miss kirkpatrick also, though there were rumours of his return.

Don't like Morgan and he may be wrong to speak out publically but I have a sneaking admiration of the fact that he spoke about something be fully believes in. He is the fourth coach this season to speak about Thaler's (failures) refereeing decisions, comments to players and handling of games. At least Morgan may shake the would be officials at the RFL and make them finally realise you don't get as many coachs complain without a justified reason. We would never have beaten Huddersfield, they outclassed us on the night but some of Thalers decisions still leave me annoyed when I think of them. Wish I could just switch off ...............

Morgan should have approached the RFL in private with his concerns. There was no need for a public outburst.

I don't think we should treat this as some sort of psychological masterstroke from Justin Morgan. He's simply a coach frustrated at a defeat pointing the finger at the referee. Its nothing more than that.

Absolute hogwash!

Morgs very often is gracious in defeat, he started his rant by praising the Hudds team.

He had every right to say what he did, he has often kept his feeling under wraps and approached the RFL through correct channels, obviously to no avail.

The result came on the back of a really hard derby victory, at the same time Hudds were resting 8 players for a home canter against Celtic, thats not their fault i know but there is a reason for the defeat.

I truly think that our loss on Monday will make us even more eager to gain a first victory at the Stoop,, and i can see us doing it.

Hope to see a few of you there on Sunday.

Curtism - I did say he may be wrong to speak out publically.

Penguin - I don't think it was a master stroke I think he probably shot himself in the foot.

It's probably no more than a coach who has despaired at some of the decisions - incorrectly made the wrong choice in speaking publically about it and is going to pay the price before the RFL for his outburst. At the end of the day his heart ruled his head and I have a sneaking admiration for his outburst even if it was the wrong way of going about things.
