Wakey are the wakest club in SL in all departments. If Cas go and they stay it will be an absolute disgrace.

I think the threat has had a very positive impact on the game. If the RFL want to keep the respect of clubs in future they need to follow through with it. But yes not a nice thing.

You said we (Wakey) were the worst team in SL in all departments - are you not in SL?


Junior Devleopment - No (Far more players plying their trade in SL who have come through our Junior Systems)

Stadium - Yes (This may or may not be addressed very shortly - if it isn't we won't be in SL)

Contribution to competition over the franchise period - NO (we have finished above you both seasons including 5th last year)

Community Work - No (we have one of the best community programmes in SL)

As much as I will defend Quins RL and London RL in general, I would think that any true fan of the game would be sad to see ANY club go under.
Threads like this have no place on our board in my opinion......but as it's not me ranting on about our own failings, I doubt the mods will lock it.
I for one support the game as well as my club and quite frankly am ashamed of some of the posters on here who appear to be gloating at the troubles experienced by another club

Well said. I have always looked forward to Wakey visting and my kids still go on about then all walking down to Griffin Park dressed up with costumes from the war!

And we all know what your opinion is worth FWIW the thread stays open for the same very simple reason the majority of the difficult threads about QRL are left open, any forum slightly worth reading will have views from all sides of a spectrum, it allows others to get a perception on what some individual posters think, fishing trips or not !!

My tuppence worth is that all Broncos/QRL etc supporters have been through enough emotional roller coasters in supporting this club over the years that they should have a massive empathy with the supporters [not always the clubs] of any other team who find themselves worrying about the future of their own clubs. There is not one club I would wish to go out of existence, but Trinity are a club and a group of supporters RL would be definately poorer for losing were that ever to be the case.
