I also remember this game. I spent an hour or so at Twickenham before kick-off handing out leaflets advertising our game and the £5 offer. Many fans said they were interested but they were going back after the game and had it been Friday etc etc.

Also going back many years (about 1983), I remember Fulham playing Cardiff on cup final eve at Stamford Bridge. It certainly seemed to attract a larger crowd than normal.

Would be a shame if it didnt go ahead on the friday night before the cup final, but if it doesnt, so be it.

And I totally agree with you not having sympathy for a team from the north travelling down on a friday night concidering the number of times you guys have to do it in the opposite direction. Ive driven that M1 plenty time from the south on a friday afternoon and its a non stop crawl from south of East Midlands Airport through to the M18 junction.

None of them are rejects. It's Quins v Ex-Quins . Btw, I think you were the ones to lose out with Worrincy but got one over on us with Sheriffe.

We didn't lose out....his agent told him he's be better off at a bigger club
That's up there with Luke Dorn going to Saldord to "win trophies"
As for sheriffe....he will get there in the end, he's just not the complete article yet.
