For home games it is 50:50. When the Giants are away there is a very high chance of a good peformance.

We were poor till Howell went off.
Then the team stepped up more.

Matt Gafa was poor until Howell went off. The worst opening 20 minutes I have seen from any player.

Hi Meast, in answer to your question re drink I always head for the William Webb Ellis first and then the Cabbage Patch, then the East Stand bar pre game and for a little while afterwards in the East Stand bar. Do you know if anybody from Underbank RLFC is coming down. Both my nephews play for them and I was at their awards do a few weeks ago. My husband comes from New Mill. Have a good journey down and I hope it is a good game, though naturally I want the Quins to win.

I'm Meast's brother - we come from New Mill too !!
one of the guys coming down has something to do with 'Bank' but i'm not sure in what capacity !

Well I know my husband's friend (nickname Butch) does a lot at Underbank but I am not sure if he said he was coming down for the game or not when I saw him at the awards thing. I normally get to the William Webb Ellis about 1.15. Usual Spoons pub, not bad. Cabbage Patch ok too but drinks are a bit dear although their food is very nice and reasonably priced (for London). As you come from New Mill my husband is one of the Hinchliffe family.
