A winning side playing competitve quality Rugby is capable of attracting more spectators next year in the Championship. If successful there would be fixtures with Superleague teams, when the eights come in.
It makes sense to reset the deal with the Hive giving both parties incentive to grow the crowds.
To move now wouldn't make any sense.
No matter how small, we are a revenue stream for Barnet and TK and the challenge for Broncos, Hughes and Tk is to continue to grow it to each other's mutual benefit.
The deal next year cannot be the same as this year as the circumstances and the finances will be different.
As is evident from the past, Rugby League has many twists and turns and shenanigans and long term planning is rare. I would be disappointed if Rugby League is not played at the Hive (or Underhill) next year.
