i'd believe it, i pay on the gate and in the cheap seats i usually get to chose from quite a good selection, most were sold out in AH +AJ infact i only had from 6 seats to chose from.
Cheers PC Plum for the good seat
My pleasure - helps when 4 of my group of 5 couldn't make it due to bedtime and work commitments ! Don't get used to the expensive seats though.
Where do you start on a display like that. At 6-30 I was losing the will to live on the M25, but persevered and now I am not sure why. I think I passed Quins enthusiasm, aggression and support play somewhere around Rickmansworth.
I cannot think of one Catalans try that they 'worked', everything was on the back of Quins mistakes (and there were plently of those) and repeat sets of six. I was amazed we withstood some of the pressure for the time we did. Our performance was shocking, but as already mentioned, the French official was atrocious. He gave us two penalties very late in game which put a different slant on the penalty count, but overall he let them slow the play the ball a la Wigan, stroll off side continually, missed the most obvious indiscretions (two leading to Catalans tries) and what was worse, getting conned by the experienced set of Aussies.
On the player front, nobody stood out in an exceptional sense, Will Sharp had a shocker, Matt Gardner flapped his arms to every high ball as if he was waving to a passing plane, Luke Gayle at times threw some woeful passes, Luke Williamson (was he playing ?), Temeta and Heckenberg pedestrian at best - actually I am wrong Haggerty and LMS added a bit of grunt when they came on. As for Tony Clubb - he is not a centre, he is not a second row, gets by on the wing, how about a bash at prop ?
Another 'not a good day at the office', let's hope Monday is better and the HKR game a massive improvement.
