Surely players of SL standard can't risk being left without a club any longer unless they are players below the NRL who havn't got a NRL contract yet.

If we can get a permanent ground then this, while crazy, will have a good end

I can't see how this is positive.

I presume that this is ten working days rather than ten days so another ten working days onto tomorrow's date leaves you on the 18th December if my Maths is correct and I believe the Super League is scheduled to start on the 15th February 2014 and that is a period of just shy of two months.

So in two months the club is expecting to find a playing squad, find a backroom team, appoint members of staff to the business side of the club, find sponsors, find a kit and training kit manufacturer and will have to complete deals for the insurance side of the game that many of us are aware of.

I just fail to see how the club could get all of that done in such a short space of time. I also fail to see how the club could find a squad capable of fighting off relegation because that would be a massive target for the club next year.

Even if Marwan Koukash has a twin brother who's keen to become the biggest side on the planet, there wasn't overnight success at Koukash's Salford and there wouldn't be at a London side, whoever the owner. With relegation likely to be a part of Super League, I personally think it would be disastrous if there was a London side in Super League that had thrown a team together in less than two months. It would be almost storybook like if a London side managed to get together in two months and stave off relegation but the chances of that happening are slim.

We are asking for 10 further days, but it could be resolved in days! not saying that will help with recruitment, but as Darthcrhis says if it is a permanent home.

Hope they have a contact at the visa section in Australia. Seriously it must be positive that someone thinks more time can sort something out and its worth waiting for, could be that a key person wasn't at the end of the phone (or their lawyer wasn't). Still there is still hope.

Many people who read this forum, who are not London Bronco supporters have exactly the same opinion! if many of the Northern clubs supporters had the same attitude as here, the game would have been dead by now!

For the long term future of the club, I can't see how it is positive. Competing 2014 in Super League isn't the be all and end all. The clubs long term future is more important.

Building a squad in less than two months and attempting to fight relegation will leave the club in a worse place I feel and if this club is to be a success it needs to be because they've stayed up due to their own work rather than due to the RFL holding the club's hand. At present, it is incredibly hard to see how a competitive side could be built and even if a waive of new signings emerge, overnight success is not likely.

That's before you even mention the crowds, or lack of.

Don't follow your argument. Administration would almost certainly mean the end of the club.

Re, your other stuff, nobody has said that it's going to be easy.
