Not sure if any of you use Newsnow but according to that the Broncos site was updated twice this evening at 21:55. Neither of the 2 articles have been visibly changed but I'm presuming the ordering might have been. Maybe an announcement will be made tomorrow!

It still says 2 September on those Brut and Charity Cup Shirts articles though? What do you mean the ordering has changed?Genuinely don't know....But if it means maybe a new statement to be made on the site, then sounds great to me!

Re: Sean Long new Broncos coach, Tony Rea CEO : Wed Dec 11, 2013 11:10 am
Most Salford fans were sad to see Sean Long leave when the new regime came in. His coaching of our backs and some of their performances under his guidance had been the only bright spot of a dire and dismal time.
I think his "form" with Brian Noble put paid to any chance of him staying with us.

2013: David Hughes as owner, renting the Stoop

2014: David Hughes as owner, renting the Hive

What wonderful progress we've made.

So after all that, we've got to completely rebuild our staffing structure, our academy setup, and playing roster.

Forgive me if I don't jump up and down with excitement.

If the beakeven figure is crowds of 10,000 and DH is only paying the losses for one season as he is retiring, there has to be more to this. AK wont take on a loss making enterprise at the Hive as he is very tight with money and isnt a RL fan either.

Ill wait for the (no sniggering at the back) official announcement before judging, but if it's just a 1 year deal and no new owner then that's fairly depressing to say the least.

Forgive me, if I wait like others for the official statement, yes 2013 is what I have heard and been told, but 2014 I have heard different? But what I do know is we do not seem to get the support some clubs get from the Red Hall Chief, who seems to pull out all the stops for a few clubs.

Selco, answer our prayers!

David Hughes - The Gerald Ratner of Rugby League? Discuss. Or not as the case may be.

I almost wish the club would fold so we could be spared your mangle speak.

Can you decipher what he's on about?

I got the dig at Bradford (which is a given) but that's about it.

So bah humbug & proud of it.
