But please, don't treat us like idiots. You're cobbling together a team of vastly inexperienced players at the last minute - you don't have any competition in this regard because they're isn't any.

He was waiting for an all clear with regards to spending money on players for a while due to the uncertainty on our future etc. He missed out on a few rectuits as a result. A situation he is at least partially responsible for, by not getting anywhere near good enough results to see us sustain any kind of crowd following.

Spot on. We may put a squad together that can win a few games, but that says more about the standard of the bottom end of SL than it does about us. If 1 first-grader misses a week of pre-season in the NRL they see it as a major issue. The majority of our squad haven't even had a full pre-season.

I would imagine the loanees and the imports from down under have and i suspect they will fill most of the 1st team spots as we have a lot of inexperienced youngsters who wil only get the odd game this season.
