- Reserves did very well, there's a good chance they'll be in the play offs again this year
- We had a couple of chances to score, Dorn was unlucky and if someone had supported Clubb at the end it would have been a try
- Will Sharp took his first try of the season very well
- Heckenberg had a strong game and carried well. Overall our pack looked pretty strong.
- Ben Kaye got quite a bit of game time and did a good job
- At times we lacked a little in composure (Dorn in particular tried to squeeze impossible balls through to Howell) but made up for it with some outstanding, disciplined defence.
- What was Chris Melling thinking at the end!?
3-4 mins left, camped on ther line, play simple play out the six and if you dont score, hand over the ball, that way they start there six on there own line
Lots of dropped ball, retention pretty poor to be honest, and some silly plays at times to give the ball away
But! we won and there was some very good performances from a few of the lads, thought Karl T, hecks, Lms, Tony Clubb all had pretty good games
Danny orr did not have the best of kicking games, thought Brough gave us a bit of a lesson in that department.
Another 2 points though, and again went to the game not knowing whats gonna happen
Who knows whats goig to happen Knowsley road??
Thought Luke Williamson also did well today. But the stupidity of some of our attempts to make difficult off-loads early in the tackle count beggars belief.

Agree with most of that and was pleased to see Hecks come through without a problem to his shoulder. Had a big game, as did Wiliamson. Big congrats to Howell for poping up to score again!!
Some absolutely crazy decision making. We are in front and then want to play like Harlem globetrotters - and we cant.
Disappointed with Orr and his kicking game especially. Has he stopped running at defences now? I like Ben Kaye. Has a great work ethic and does a good safe job. Can he play SH please?
If Hudds want to replace Robinson - Id sign him!
2 points are very welcome with Saints up next week.

Did he? Depends what he was trying to achieve. There were plenty of run-the clock-down kicks, but when it came to it, two of our tries came from kicks, so our kicking game can't all be bad. We also nearly got a third - out trademark move from the base of the scrum. EDIT: Melling also got close from another good kick early in the first half.

I wouldn't want to, terribly overrated. Has the luxury of playing behind a good Huddersfield pack (though probably not so much today) and alongside Kevin Brown, whose talent is probably underestimated.
Dorn and Robinson didn't work for Salford and it won't work for us. Danny Orr has been superb for us in many, many games. Today he maybe wasn't as prominent as other games, but he still played his part. A key example was when he shouted to make sure we had people back to handle the quickly taken drop out.
He also has a rugby brain, which Robinson will probably never have.

Thought tamata went well again today plus hecks.
Thought Brough had the best of the kicking, though we chased better.
Maybe another ugly win but still a win.
Bring on the Saints
Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 - Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader. Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward. Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I? Update on Quins Mogs :- Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo. Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas. Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9. Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.
What a wonderful initiative, must have put a good six or seven on the gate.
George's groupies didn't get to the game on their own. They came with mum & dad, who brought brothers, and some will be back. It gets the club round the schools again, and reminds everyone we're still here. I took a friend of my son and his dad on my free tickets. The dad's a Yorkie who used to play League as a kid, though he's more into Union. He's been before, but not for a while, and was surprised how much he enjoyed it. He'll be back.
