Really disappointed that Deano has gone in the wake of bloodgate.

He was in the process of building a very good Quins team and this is a real blow to the club.

What a rotten end to a good season for Quins.

The ban handed down to Tom Williams was ridiculous and out of proportion with anything else that happens in the game (eye gouging, drug taking).

Sad day for Quins.

It was a joke- how you can justify that is beyond me! Clearly he had help from someone. As for Deano, he'll be back again soon enough. But certainly a great coach.

Former England forward Richards, who resigned from his position as director of rugby at Quins at the weekend, was also found to have been involved in four similar incidents, hence the severity of his punishment.

Williams ban reduced to 4 months
Fine increased €300,000 (£285,000) all payable Now.

Sorry state of affairs really. The guy that assisted in the Ruse, a Mr Steph Brennan is currently employed by the RFU....but his 2 year ban means he will probably get the sack..............

Does Richards' ban only apply to Rugby Union?
