Pre season predictions .... : Sun Aug 16, 2009 6:40 am
.... they, the experts, said we were a bottom 3 side before the start of the season, and that is exactly what we are. We flattered to deceive flogging a low on confidence Wire and Hull and grinding out results at KR, Bulls and Leeds. Anyone with any knowledge of the game could see we were batting way above our weight when we were 4th place and as teams got the acts together we would fall, but the manner of this fall from grace is the cause for concern.
The home performances have been abysmal, is it any wonder crowd levels are poor, when even loyal fans are questionning the commitment and quality of the team ! Frankly yesterday summed up the plight - I thought the Bradford game was the lowest point but at least you could say the Bulls have some outstanding players - Salford were limited but industrious and I cant remember a single try that did not come directly on the back of a Quins mistake (Dorn intercept / Wells failure) or a piggy back of penalties up to our line - the least said about the comedian in the middle the better.
