... I am going to start watching football again.

I don't mind losing and losing by alot if we have a young team out on the park (like vs Leeds the first year we were Quins). But they have been depressingly bad at home for 6 or so games.

Plus
- the programme has gone bad so bad I have stopped buying it.
- why the hell is Tony Clubb playing for the reserves?????? MoM for them this week.

PS I am sure I will end up getting a season ticket and cheering them on but it has been so depressing...

Well you aren't alone in your thoughts, I've said as soon as they said Tony played in the reserves that he shouldnt be there.
Someone said punishment, punishment for what? Something must of happened in training, as against Salford he was one of the pick out of a load of rubbish.
Alot more deserved to be dropped before him.
iirc, Tony would play left Centre? The position most of Hull's tries came from.
This what happens when you drop someone who generally is quite stong in tackles, he misses a few but he's quite strong when he tries, and thats what Tony gives to our team, heart. Just like Louis and Rob.
We've been playing boring rugby since the start of the year, bar a few, Warrington for example.
We won the first games we played boring.
If we can't win games, at least try and keep home support up? Keep the crowd a little entertained, as it's getting boring and repetive, we all know what happens when we get the ball, when Dorn gets the ball on the opposition 40 on the last tackle, or on any tackle, we all know what's going to happen. So do the opposition now.
It's stupid. ;/

If all I did was to turn up at 2.45 and leave at 4.40, and not go into the bar to have a drink & chat with fellow fans, I wouldn't bother driving the 70 miles or so to see the standard of rugby we are currently witnessing! :DEPRESSED:

When I first started watching the Broncos, a dozen or so years ago, it wasn't to see them, it was to see the opposing teams (Leeds and Wigan initially) whom I'd seen and admired on TV. Somehow these initial contacts "matured" into becoming a Broncos/QuinsRL fan.

So, if we're really so bad, and at present I agree we are, I suppose that I could just go back to square one, revert to being a rugby league fan rather than a QuinsRL fan, be selective on which games I go to at the Stoop, and start enjoying watching the game again.

Plenty of the matches shown on Sky are well worth the subscription and very few of them involve QuinsRL.

NOTHING would make me start watching soccer.

Whilst I'm frustrated (understatement) by Quins at present, I'm not going back to football. At least not full time.

Followed Reading for nearly ten years before finding TGG. I'd much rather sit in a friendly family atmosphere with my pint, having paid £15 to get in and enjoy an entertaining fast paced, honest sport. Not £30 to hear nothing but swearing, racism and abuse, being herded into a concrete tunnel to have a drink before returning to see a 6-footer go down crying when someone treads on his little toe.

Went with my 'faction' to see Reading v Birmingham in May and while it was a good day out, some of them were shocked at the behaviour of the Neanderthals around us. Took them to Quins v Bulls and they all commented on what a fantastic day out and sport it was and asked when they could come back.
