Who have been our CEO's and what have they brought both positively and negatively to the club

I'm really struggling with this guy as to what it is he does bring.

Im just an end user, but the club isnt in my face and im a keen follower.

Good question have you seen what our neighbours in the east are doing to tempt season ticket holders? Cash back to local RL clubs if a season ticket is bought. Price £25! They are doing a Bradford and good on them for trying. What is Gus doing?

The club something similar back in 98. Tickets were bought through their clubs and the club got to keep a percentage of the money.

CEO's

Robbie Moore: Helped transition the club from Crusaders and to get the team contraversially into Super League. Quiet unassuming guy, who didn't get a proper bite at the cherry. Now CEO of Qld RL. (What you wouldn't give for him now.

Tony Rea: Good understanding of players and agents with some great contacts in Oz. Did a good job of picking players who turned out to be great for the club. Dennis Moran.

Lionel Hurst: Zip (My opinion)

Nic Cartwright: Had a tough job due to all the financial headaches. Did a great job to liase with the fans. Was happy to talk to supporters even when things weren't going well.

Don't know any of the others so can't comment.

too kind to Tony Rea.

We had the Virgin Empire backing us, we got to Wembley and still went bust. TR is a much better coach than CEO IMO.

He wasn't qualified to take the job on in the first place. And we won't mention him stiffing a certain coach....

Nic Cartwright, to me as a fan with no insider knowledge, seemed to give up on trying to grow the support base and simply looked to get as much money as possible out of the fans we had.

Nic Cartwright was always available to fans and when he said he would do something, he did it. Unlike the current holder of the position.

Nic is the only one I ever had direct contact with. Excellent guy IMO, always had time to talk to fans and to set up forums etc, dealt with annual nightmares of finding alternative grounds when Brentford wanted us out.

TR never should have got the job when he did. Bad judgement on the part of Branson to appoint him.

A worringly oft repeated error made by the club time and time again over the years IMO.

Nick Cartwright seemed to have the best intentions,but ws hamstrung by debts and issues inherited.
Paul Brown seemed to be "really up for it" but illness got in the way
Boss Hogg came acrossas a relectant CEO
Paul Blanchard was asmuch use as a chocolate teapot
Gus MacKay makes Paul Blanchard look like Bill Gates.

Above the CEO there has been a pretty constant force BTW.........so maybe not all the blame lies with them.
